![]() ![]() They don't do anything particulary exciting. ![]() It's more just a sudden, unrealistic, barely explained "ta da" of "love." And the couple is boring.their conversations seem very juvenile, both in the way they express themselves and in their feelings. By this I mean the author doesn't allow any situation in the book for the characters to grow to "love" each other. So why is the book a "snooze fest?" The emotion development of the characters is nil. The family is saved.there's a little more after this but it's not very exciting. Juliana ends up enlisting Asher's (hero and love interest to Juliana) help to steal the letters. ![]() He plans to use the letters as blackmail. How? The little sister wrote a few passionate letters to Ormsby (villan), who took advantage of the young teenage beauty so he could trump all the suitors after her first Season by marrying her. Juliana (heroine and widow of 28) is in dire straits because her sister (age 17) got the family into trouble. I won't get into a serious explanation of the plot - it's pretty basic, especially considering the length of the novel. ![]()
